She was predeceased by: her parents, Al Lovan and Birdie Lee Lovan Johnson; and her birth parents, Hatcher Hughes and Phyllis Ann Drone Bell. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Ray Baxter of Madisonville; her daughters, Danielle Stafford (Jewell) of Madisonville, Stephanie Baxter of Madisonville and Michelle Bussell (Robert) of Hopkinsville; her siblings, Jeffrey Hughes (Cynthia) of Madisonville, Anthony Bell (Revonda) of Sneads Ferry, Immanuel Hughes (Tiffany) of Louisville, Phyllis Stone of Cincinnati, Sonja Collins (Garland) of Hanson, Bridgitt White (Carlos) of Madisonville, Shelly Brewer (Lloyd) of Fishers and Ella Bell of Dayton, Ohio; and her stepfather Thomas Bell of Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Her hobbies included building ceramics, decorating, cooking, refurbishing furniture, making quilts, prom, and wedding dresses, hairstyling, playing video games, and making DVD memorial tribute videos for the families of Elliott-Bowles Mortuary.
