We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 78, Stephen F. Bowles of Madisonville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Marvin Bowles. He is survived by: his wife Karen Workman Bowles of Dawson Springs, KY; his children, Diana Hall (Wayne) of Dawson Springs, KY and David Bowles (Pam) of Burkburnett, TX; his sister Susan Bowles Hoover (Roger) of Eddyville, KY; his daughter-in-law Sherron Hall Rickard; his grandchildren, Joshua "Deven" Bowles (Annie) and Sarah Caitlin Hall; his great grandchild Paul "August" Bowles; and his pet Sophie.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to the Hopkins County Humane Society in memory of Steve and in honor of Sophie AKA "Freda Tornado Survivor" who was found by the Humane Society and was fed and sheltered until being reunited with her family 3 months after the December 10, 2021 tornado.
