He is survived by: his close friends, Mada Logan, Chauna Anderson, Rita Baker, Diane Morris, Vivian Pettus and Freddie Stafford; his son Tremaine Hobgood; his godson Webster Rice Jr. of Madisonville; his daughter Tamara Hobgood Nelson of Madisonville; his siblings, Jerry Hobgood, Paula Snorton of Balch Springs, Linda Black (Cornelius) of Rochester and Adell Wilkes (Oliver) of Madisonville; and his grandchildren, Tijah Hobgood, Nahari Nelson, Etoyi Nelson Jr., Nieem Nelson, Asaiah Nelson and Itai Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
