He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Mayes and Pauline Jenkins Mayes; his wife Suzanne Mayes; and his son James S. Mayes. He is survived by: his son Mark T. Mayes (Shannon) of Dawson Springs, KY; his brother Rick Humphrey (Ann) of Rochester; and his grandchildren, Mitchell S. Mayes, Taylor Mayes, Olivia Mayes, William and Parker Johnson.
