He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ezell Oakley and Thomas E. Oakley; and his son Jason Scott Oakley. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Blades Oakley of Madisonville; his children, Dwight Oakley (Lori) of Madisonville, Jeff Oakley (Kim) of Madisonville and Kimberly Gates (Greg) of Hanson, KY; his sister Phyllis Knight (David) of Lake Okeechobee, FL; his grandchildren, Jared Oakley (Kai), Kara Oakley (Blake Harrell), Jason Oakley, Lucas Oakley (Haley Higdon), Lindsey Oakley, Will Thomas Pruitt, Tyler Gates and Reese Gates (Carly Pollard); his great grandchildren, Kanaan, Bentley Harrell, Keelan, Kaelin, Kinzley West and Knox Parker; and his niece Jennifer Burrell (Charlie).
