With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Woolsey of Madisonville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2026 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Woolsey and Sadie Woolsey; his brothers, Robert Woolsey, Walter Woolsey, Leroy Woolsey and Bruce Woolsey; his stepsons, Scott E. Hill and Steven Hill; and his grandchildren, Dakota H. Wallace and Jayveon Parsons.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Woolsey; his daughters, Pamela Woolsey of Earlington, KY, Angela Brown of Henderson, KY, Manda Jacks of Gosport, IN and Jamie Sullivan of Clay, KY; and his brother Billy Joe Woolsey (Donna) of Providence, KY. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
