He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elbert Bennett and Anna Louise Terry Bennett. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Franklin Bennett of Madisonville; his children, Kim Wyatt (Jim) of Nashville, TN and Dustin Bennett (Jill) of Madisonville; and his grandchildren, Dylan Cornette (Autumn), Lacee Knight (Darren), Colson Bennett and Landan Bennett. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home – Madisonville Chapel (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
