She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Caven and Vivian Gibson Caven. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Atherton; and her siblings, Gayle Jackson of Magnolia, Joslyn Hawkins of Alabama and Randy Caven (Charlotte) of Magnolia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home (9025 New Jackson Hwy, Magnolia, KY 42757). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 1075 Bird Rd, Magnolia, KY 42757.
