She was predeceased by : her husband Marvin Wright; her daughter Sue Thomas; her mother Beatrice Vance Benningfield; and her brothers, Hugh Benningfield, J. G. "Bunt" Benningfield, Jim Benningfield and Alton "Latch" Benningfield.

She is survived by : her grandsons, Corey Lynn Norton (Dustin) of Mt. Washington and John "Paul" Thomas of Mt. Washington; her great grandchildren, Simon Norton and Maggie Norton; and her son-in-law Gordy Thomas.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home (9025 New Jackson Hwy, Magnolia, KY 42757). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at the Timberlake Cemetery.
