He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Slone and Azana Short Slone; his former wife Barbara Joyce Slone; his sons, Danny Slone and Douglas Slone; his granddaughter Santana Danielle Slone; and his siblings, Talmadge Slone, John C. Slone, Ruby Slone, Arnold Slone, Jackie Slone, Phyllis Stamper, Minnie Perkins and Mary Catherine Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sue Craft Slone; his son David Slone (Amy); his stepchildren, Christine Wilson (Brian) and Carl Brian Craft (Shana); his grandchildren, Jesse Slone (Christin), Jordan Slone, Kaitlynne Slone, Brianna Slone and Katrynna Slone; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn Baker, Jordan Baker (Chelsie), Jesse Farler (Tabitha), Stephen Farler, LaKeisha Pack (Aaron), Dylan Craft (Kaitlyn), Aaron Tate Craft, Hannah Craft (Hayden Caudill), Sarah Scarbrough (Matthew), Jessica Craft, Bruce Wilson (Hannah) and Brady Wilson; his great grandchildren, Willow Rayne Slone, Grayson Slone and Tayson Slone; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Alayna Baker, Kaylyn Baker, Ulysses Martin Pack, Bentley Craft, Carson Craft, Dawson Tate Craft, Blaze Wilson, Hendrix Wilson Ivy Singleton and Nora Singleton; and his brother Tommy Ray Slone. He is also survived by one Sister - Lydia Slone Host of Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Hindman Funeral Services (619 Hindman Bypass, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
