She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Carroll and Elva Poteet Carroll; her husband Bob Pippin; her daughter Jillian Dawn Pippin; and her siblings, Ralph, Roger Carroll and Jackie Bratcher (Bob Pippin).

She is survived by: her daughter April Starnes of Chalybeate; her grandchildren, Dalton Starnes (Mackenzie Johnston) of Chalybeate and Olivia Starnes (Gavin Rowe) of Chalybeate; and her sisters, Corene Rigdon (Melvin) of Mammoth Cave, Geraldine Miller of Leitchfield and Sue Sanders of Brownsville.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Patton Funeral Home – Brownsville Chapel (504 Washington St, Brownsville, KY 42210). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
