He is survived by: his wife Florine Carper; his sons, Johnny Carper Jr. (Margie) and Danny Carper (Lonnie); and his siblings, Don Carper, Ed Carper (Holly), Earl Carper (Julie) and Nancy Aurdant. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
