She was predeceased by: her husband Alex Collett; her parents, Arnold Cheek and Gladys Cheek; her son Brian Keith Taylor; her brother James R. Gilbert; and her in-laws, Mattie and Gill Collett.
She is survived by: her children, Brandy Burns (Charles) of London, KY, Mitzi Nolan (Jason) of Manchester, KY and Scott Taylor of London, KY; her brother Larry Cheek (Donna) of London, KY; her grandchildren, Jacob Taylor, Ella Taylor, Charley Burns, Tucker Burns, Brittany Nolan, Jalon Nolan, Kailee Wooton (Andrew) and Tatum Nolan; her great grandchildren, Copelyn, Calliope Taylor and Isla Wooton; and her close friends, Frances Gibson, Marsha Stivers, Shannon Magee, Whitney Arnett and Judy Nolan.
A graveside service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens (Manchester Memorial Gardens, Kentucky 40962).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Clay County Cancer Coalition or to the Clay County High School Theatre Dept.
