He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Burns and Laura Burns (Roberts); and his siblings, Eunice Burns, Leslie Burns, Edna Smith, Audrey Pajor, Matilda Woods, George Burns, Clay Burns, Astor Burns, Maxie Burns and Ruth Cope.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Burns (Caldwell); his children, Charlotte Brewer (Ted), Carla Treadway (Scott), Sheila Hurd (Billy), Lisa Hamilton (Todd) and Thresa Willoughby (Brent); and his sister Alma Maxie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel (402 Richmond Rd, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
