She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Philpot; her grandchildren, Keisha Philpot and Jordan Philpot; her great grandchildren, Amelia Philpot-Johnson, Emersyn Philpot-Johnson, Zayn Philpot and Karli Philpot; and her siblings, Betty Sue Root and Jon Wallace (Hooker).
