It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmer Messer (Manchester, Kentucky), born in Beverly, Kentucky, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Messer and Maggie Grubb Messer; his daughter Amanda Sizemore; his grandchildren, Shawn Sizemore, Briley Sizemore and Bruce Gilbert Holt; and his brothers, Bruce Messer and Rev. Isaac Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Smith Messer; his children, Majorie Collins (Jereme), Jessica Messer (Brian Smith), Delmer Bryan Messer (Mallory), Virginia Leeann Messer Edwards (Ernie), Leighman Gilbert Messer (Bridgett) and Travis Kishore Messer (Cadence Honchell); his grandchildren, Delmer Wesley Messer, Jeremy Collins, Joseph Collins, Jesse James Arnett, Wanda Faye Arnett, Alana Smith, Ava Smith, Akira Sizemore, Haylee Sizemore, Russell Connor Messer, Carson Burnette, Avery Messer, Carly Edwards, Madiline Edwards, Bryson Messer, Brantley Messer and Madison Messer; his great grandchild Celina Messer; and his siblings, Bige Messer (Martha), Virginia Ann Broughton (Rick), Kenneth Messer (Linda), Vernon Messer (Jeanette) and Connie Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Rominger Funeral Home to help with expenses.
