He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Bessie Root Smith; his grandson Sheldon Lockaby; and his great grandchild Colton Wombles. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Dewayne Smith (Amy) of Manchester and Brandon Lee Smith (Mya Bingham) of Baldrock, Kentucky; his sister Ruby Mayne of Williamsburg, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Destanee Wombles, Zakkary Smith and Leland Smith; his great grandchildren, Jaiden Wombles, Madelyn Wombles and Jacelyn Wombles; and the mother of his children Flossie Smith of London. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
