With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Abner (Manchester, Kentucky), who passed away on December 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Doug may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Doug touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hope Church (1342 US-421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Manchester Memorial Gardens (Manchester Memorial Gardens, Kentucky 40962).
