He was predeceased by : his parents, James L. Hensley and Hannie Barrett Hensley; and his siblings, Farris Hensley, Sr., Mabel Howard, George Hensley, Pauline Gilbert, Ethel Hensley and James Hensley.

He is survived by : his daughter Margaret Kaiser (Tim); and his grandchildren, Samantha Vogeler, Scott, Marcus Kaiser and Sarah.
