James C. Westerfield Obituary

We announce the death of James C. Westerfield (Manchester, Kentucky), who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 87. James C. will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Robert and Laura Belle Westerfield (Cornett); his wife Phyllis Sue Westerfield; and his siblings, Edward Westerfield, Robert Grant Westerfield, Jesse Westerfield, Oliver Westerfield, John Westerfield and Ada White.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Duane "Robbie" Westerfield (Linda) and Trichina Westerfield Wilder (Arles); his grandchildren, Landon W. Westerfield, Logan Chapman Westerfield and Hadley Sue Wilder; and his great grandchild Ella Grace Westerfield.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel (402 Richmond Rd, Manchester, KY 40962). A masonic service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Senior Citizens Food Program.
