He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Merrill and Marcella Bly Merrill; his wife Betty Merrill; and his son John Merrill. He is survived by: his caregiver Paul Blevins; and his children, Jemma Blevins and Brantley Curfman. He is also survived by son; 3 granddaughters; several great-grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Adams County Honor Guard/ VFW Post 8287.
