He is survived by: his wife Lola Deane House Smith; his children, Jerry Smith (Wendy) of London and Gina Smith-Salyers (Bill) of Louisville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Carey Beth Smith, Jeremiah Smith, Jackson Salyers and Mason Salyers; and his brothers, Johnny Taylor Smith (Vicky) of Manchester, Kentucky. and Scott Smith (Dennis Hammons).
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
