With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Byrd (Manchester, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Baker and Mary Baker (Lunsford); her husband George Byrd (Tom); her siblings, Butch Baker and Martha Baker Smith; and her grandchildren, Jeffery Byrd and Janet Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Gail Collett (Bobby) of Burning Springs, Jeff Byrd (Lisa) of Manchester, Robbie Byrd (Ashley) of Burning Springs and Nicholas Byrd (Danielle) of Manchester; her grandchildren, Brittany Anderson, Serena Byrd, Matthew Byrd, Baylen Byrd, Blakely Byrd, Adalynn Byrd, Paisley Byrd, James Allen and Hanna Allen; her great grandchildren, Brynnli Anderson, Emery Angel, Kolton Angel, Gabriel Angel and Cason Allen; and her siblings, Linda Collett, Virginia Collins, Cora Smith, Lorene Dodson, Jim Baker of Manchester and Mildred Blanton of Annville, KY. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, family and friends.
