He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wagers and Georgia Smith Wagers; his wife Christine Gray Wagers; and his siblings, Raleigh Wagers, Sophia Feltner and Tinsley Smith, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Wagers (Patricia) of Goose Rock, Eddie Wagers of Greenfield, IN and Mary Ann DePrez of Greenfield, IN.; his sister Mae Smith of Buzzard; and his grandchildren, Kimberly, Christy and Braelyn. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
