He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Morgan and Etsie Lunsford Morgan; his wife Dorothy Morgan; his children, Diane Davidson, Robbie Morgan and Larry Morgan; and his sisters, Martha Sue Roberts and Dolly King.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vickie Bundy, Bonnie Brown, Debbie Allen and Michelle Stevens; and his siblings, Mae Hill, Henry Earl Morgan and Leonard Morgan. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
