She was predeceased by : her parents, Estill Bowling and Rosa Bowlin Bowling; her husband David Spurlock; and her brothers, Estill Bowling Jr. and Alfred T. Bowling.

She is survived by : her sisters, Geraldine Spurlock (Hughes) of Oneida, KY, Jean Hoskins (Elbert) of Georgetown, KY and Sylvia Haendel of Centerville, OH.; and her siblings-in-law, Ron Haendel, Myra Bowling and Lucille Bowling.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
