He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Marcum and Sudie Jackson Marcum; his wife Ethel Marcum; his son Richard Marcum; and his siblings, Bill Marcum, Major Marcum, J. S. Marcum, Polly Marcum and Iva Lee Branstutter.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Marcum (Connie) and Delora Wagers (Leroy); and his daughter-in-law Tammie Marcum. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
