He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sizemore and Mary Gray Sizemore; and his sister Charlie Sizemore (Bobbie Lou Krug). He is survived by: his son Benjamin Travis Bays (Cayley) of Bardstown; his sisters, Leslie Sizemore (Charlotte) of Manchester and Margaret Buttram (Eddie) of Corbin; his girlfriend Misty Smith; his grandchildren, Jackson, Beau, Brynlee and Oakley; his pet Sissy; and his close friends, Clint Harris, Allen Robert and Cletus Maricle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
