He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Curnel and Ester Curnel (Privett); and his siblings, Lonnie, James, Ollie, Jesse (JV), Carl, Bertha, Mamie, Pearlie and Mary Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Charles Ray (Karen Curnel) and Jason Curnel (Jordan); his brother Donnie (Jeannie Curnel); his sister-in-law Shirlene Curnel of Marion; and his grandchildren, Ethan (Jazmyn), Aiden, Lila, Raylin and Coy Curnel of Marion, KY.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
