She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Doom and Ovella Gillespie Doom; her husband Norman Newcom; and her siblings, Darlene West and L. A. Doom.
She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Newcom of Utica, KY and LaRae Wilson of Mayfield, KY; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Corley, Cassandra Newcom, Devin Corley, Clayton Newcom and Kaylob Newcom; her great grandchildren, Ray, Esme and Juliet; and her siblings, H. E. Doom and Marla Rushing.
