Jon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jon will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Shackleford and June Woodell Shackleford Pickering; his daughter Johnna; and his brothers, Curtis and Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his stepson Dan Ammon of Spearfish South Dakota; and his stepmother Mary Shackleford of Harrisburg.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Tate's Chapel Cemetery (2726 Tates Chapel Rd, Galatia, IL 62935).
