The passing of Leona Mae Luckett Lee of Marion, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 92. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Luckett and Rebecca Luckett; her husband Joseph Howard Lee; and her brothers, Bernard, Lawrence and Randall.
She is survived by: her children, Nadine Thompson (Bob) of Louisville, Sandra Rice (Larry) of Nicholasville, Shirley Sanchez (Jon) of Lexington, David Lee (Kim) of Denver, Ellen Shackleford (Ken) of Lexington, Ann Mattingly (Wayne) of Versailles and Perry Lee (Renee) of Elk Horn, Kentucky.; and her siblings, Myrtle Fisher, Janis Ambs and Jerry Luckett. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 bonus grandchildren, as well as 12 great-grandchildren and 9 bonus great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosley Funeral Home (246 S Proctor Knott Ave, Lebanon, KY 40033). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mary Catholic Church (3265 State Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY 40033).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church cemetery fund, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, KY 40033.
