With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nicky Marlon Porter of Marion, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Nicky Marlon leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Nicky Marlon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry A. Porter and Anna Lee Porter; his brother Eric Porter; and his nephew Jason Porter. He is survived by: his brothers, Joe Porter (Gaye) of Marion, KY and Dennis Porter (Paula) of Crayne, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home (117 W Bellville St, Marion, KY 42064). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
