He was predeceased by : his parents, John S. Smith and Louise Jackson Smith; and his siblings, Charles, Shellie and Linda Jane Brindley.
He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Sharron K. S McDaniel (Billy) of Fancy Farm and Brad Smith of Kuttawa; his grandson Cameron McDaniel (Jasmine); his great grandchild Baker McDaniel of Mayfield; and his siblings, Rosie Carner (Jimmy) of Caldwell County, Pat Jenkins (Mike) of Christian County, Rufus Smith of Princeton, Johnny Smith (Gloria) of Princeton and Richard Smith of Parker, Colorado..
