She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Stanley and Francis Monday VanZant; her husband Bill Alt; the father of her children Paul Harvey Harper; her son Jerry Paul Harper; her sister Joann Gibson; and her siblings-in-law, Lizzie Bell White, Norma Watson, Jessie Harper, James White, Larry Cooksey and Garfield Gibson.
She is survived by: her sons, Buddy Harper (Brandy) and Todd Harper; her grandchildren, Brandon Harper, Meghann McIntyre, Heather Perry (Logan), Cole McIntyre, Zack Harper (Brittany), Hannah Harper, Reece Harper, Taylor Ashford and Jessica Hunt; her siblings-in-law, Debbie Harper, Betty Cooksey and Kenny Watson; and her close friends, Sue Garrett Schmidt and Jeff Hunt. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home (801 N Race St, Glasgow, KY 42141). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
