Betty Elizabeth Kidd Obituary
We bid farewell to Betty Elizabeth Kidd (Martin, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 26, 2025 at the age of 86. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her spouse Ransom Kidd; her parents, Ambers Ousley and Mary Gunnels Ousley; and her siblings, Tom Ousley, Lloyd, Raymond, Miles, Grover, Pete McGarey, Phyllis, Tiny Ousley, Rose, Hester and Alice McGarey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lou Lawson (Jeff) of Dana, KY, Debbie Osborn (Roger) of Stanville, KY and Ada Slusher (Ricky) of Pikeville, KY; her sister Anna Lykens of Langley, KY; her grandchildren, Mary Caudill (Aaron), Katherine Pruitt (Coey), Emily Adams (Darren), Brittany Potter (Kevin), Brandon Osborn (Hannah), Angel Dye (Shane), Steve Lawson (Kristi) and Joe Lawson; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Jackson Potter, Abigail, Penelope Pruitt, Peyton Prater, Alyssa Hall, Andrew Dye, Emma Dye, Addy Dye, Caleb, Chase Lawson, Colten and Bailey Goble. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Hall Funeral Home (331 KY-122, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Ransom & Betty Kidd Family Cemetery.
