He is survived by: his wife Darlene Hunter Hughes; his children, Samuel Ray Hughes (Tina) of Martin, KY and Lynn Case (Wesley) of Martin, KY; his granddaughter Shauna Harlow (Jared); and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Paxton Harlow.
