He is survived by : his wife Loretta Slone McKinney; his children, Dr. Veronica Dawn McKinney, Dr. Michael Kent McKinney Jr. of Martin, KY and Christopher Hillard McKinney of Martin, KY; his brothers, Randy McKinney of Printer, KY and Mark McKinney of Martin, KY; and his grandchildren, Michael Kent McKinney III and Christina Dawn McKinney.
