He was predeceased by: his wife Leona "Lee" Cobb (Davenport); and his parents, Rev. Stephen H. Cobb and Pauline E. Cobb (Waldrop). He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Cobb (Teri) of Murray, Kentucky, Gary Cobb (Carla) of Athens, Alabama and Dale Cobb (Kelly) of Madison, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Ryan Cobb (Rachel), Bradley Cobb (Jill), Jeremy Cobb (Abby), Kelly Thompson (Greg), Garrett Cobb, Logan Cobb (Kassidy) and Braden Cobb (Payton).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Little Wabash Cemetery.
