He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Chad and Scott Clapp; and his parents, Cloye Yates and Maurine Henly Yates. He is survived by: his wife Lois Totty Yates; his children, Bobby Clapp (Heather) of Mayfield, Cindy Black (Mike) of Mayfield and Debbie Prashad of Atlanta, GA; and his brother Charles Yates of Benton. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
