He was predeceased by : his wife Sarah Musette Adams Gupton; his brother James R. Gupton; and his parents, Roy Gupton and Edith Darnell Gupton. He is survived by : his children, Carlus Gupton, Jr. (Ann) of Nashville, TN, Neal Gupton (Angela) of Mayfield, KY and Sandy West of Mayfield, KY. He is also survived by four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
