He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Morris and Suvera Parrott Morris; and his siblings, Allen Morris, Clarence Powell and Theresa Jean Morris.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bobo Morris; his children, Bradley Morris and Joshelle Morris; his grandchildren, Amone Matchett, Meleaha Morris and Amir Matchett; his sisters, Shirley Beasley (Robert), Adelaide Kendrick and Vivian Morris; and his pet Ace Matchett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
