He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leonard Young and Verble Burnett Young. He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Young; his children, Rebecca Gaither (Jake), Vicki Smith, Thomas Risko, Ricky Young and Timmy Young; his sisters, Jo Ann Raley, Margaret Jones and Brenda Moreland (Steve); his cousin Linda Ryan; and his friends, James and Judy McClure. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (1000 Backusburg Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
