He was predeceased by: his parents, Earlie Garfield Green and Katie Mae Smith Green; and his brothers, Willard Thomas Green, Clayton Earl Green and Paul Green.
He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Richardson Green; his children, Richard Fowler (Lisa) of Pulaski, Tennessee, Mark Green (Beth) of Madison, Alabama, Kurtricia Howell (Jody) of Sedalia, Kentucky, Matthew Green (Allie) of Benton, Kentucky and John Green (Marianne) of Lynchburg, Tennessee.; his siblings, Linda Lester (Ricky) of Mayfield, Tammy Price of Mayfield, Becky Belmar of St. Louis, Missouri, Steve Green (Vickie) of Mayfield, Jackie Green of Mayfield and Rick Green of St. Louis, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Angel Fowler, Ben Fowler, Travis Fowler, Caleb Fowler, Aislyn Green, Kaylan Green, Gavin Howell, Sean Howell, Eleanor Green, Liam Green, Millie Green, Ryan Green and Lucy Green; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Green and Marcia Green. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mayfield Memory Gardens (2895 US-45, Mayfield, KY 42066).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or American Legion Post 26.
