David Lynn Gilbert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lynn Gilbert of Mayfield, Kentucky, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gilbert and Shirley Gilbert; his wife Margaret Douthitt Gilbert; and his son Tim Crutchfield. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Gilbert and David Crutchfield (Brandy); his grandchildren, Anthony Gilbert (Jennie), Austin Gilbert (Courtney), Aerian Gilbert, Caden Crutchfield and Cohen Crutchfield; his great grandchildren, Jainlen, Elaiceya, Hayden, Hadley and Hollis; and his siblings, Rex Gilbert (Lori), Dennis Gilbert (Angela), Kay Haynes (Mitchell), Darlene McKinney (Donnie) and Teresa Gream (Michael).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cuba Church of Christ (51 Cuba School Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066).
