He was predeceased by: his brother Jerry Hendley; his daughter Helen "ReaRea" Nance; and his parents, James "Doodle" Hendley and Betty Lancaster Hendley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hendley; his sons, Steve Hendley (Tancey) of Mayfield, KY and Richard Hendley (Sandy) of Melber, KY; his siblings, Jim Hendley (Rita) of Huntsville, AL and Pam Frizzell (Steve) of Mayfield, KY; and his grandchildren, Preston Hendley, Jacquelyn Hendley, Clifton Hendley (Maz) and Carey Beth Dunn (Zach). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
