She was predeceased by: her husband James Alexander, Jr.; her daughter Deborah Harris; her sister Leola Mathis; and her parents, Noble Foster and Mae Copeland Foster.

She is survived by: her son Larry Alexander (Debi) of Paducah; her sister Margaret Griggs of Lowes; and her son-in-law Glenn Harris of Dukedom. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
