He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Spain; his children, Gene Spain, Jr. (Stacey) of White House, TN, Chad Spain (Tyra) of Mayfield, KY and Cheryle Reed of Mayfield, KY; and his brother Jerry Spain (Willadean) of Florida. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
