She was predeceased by: her husband James E. Shelton; her parents, Richard Alton and Leona Bagwell (Dick); and her sons-in-law, Charles W. Ford and Gary Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Shelton (Bridget) of Mayfield, KY, Eddie Shelton (Kimberly) of Mayfield, KY, Steve Shelton (Vickie) of Mayfield, KY, Beverly Ford of Mayfield, KY and Phyllis Wheeler of Mayfield, KY; her grandchildren, Keenan Ford (Sandi), Jana Smith (Wesley), Crystal Furlong (Austin), Summer Ellegood (Craig), Beth Munsell (T. J.), Eric Shelton, Wes Aldridge, Leona Brown (Damon), Brandon Dixon, Dr. Jon Ross Shelton (Brandi) and Rachel Higgins (Darren); and her caregiver Jackie Nelson. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
