Though Glenn may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Glenn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother James K. McAlpin; and his parents, Ollie McAlpin and Maggie Mae Motheral McAlpin. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie J. McAlpin; his sons, Steve McAlpin of Mayfield, KY and Ken McAlpin (Angel) of Mayfield, KY; his siblings, Zolen Ray McAlpin (Shirley) of Sedalia, KY and Martha C. McAlpin of Mayfield, KY; his grandchildren, Kenlee McAlpin of Murray, KY and James Glenn McAlpin of Mayfield, KY; and his nephew John Simpson of Mayfield, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robbins Cemetery.
